Third-party warehousing and management of operational areas
Our third-party warehousing service relies on a modern infrastructure that allows us to manage a variety of materials through controlled procedures. The logistics area comprises 5,000 m² of covered space, with 7 meters of ceiling height and various equipped areas to meet customer needs. There are partially racked areas for products requiring this type of structure, open areas for bulky materials, and racked areas designed for intensive storage.

This configuration optimizes space and simplifies merchandise management, ensuring order, accessibility, and safety at all times. Daily operations include merchandise handling, material storage, product preparation, and distribution throughout Italy.
Labeling, traceability and flow control
A key aspect of the logistics services offered by Prealpina Traslochi is the management of shipment flows through barcode labeling systems, which ensure complete traceability of packages at every stage of the process. The system allows for managing customer or supplier replenishment, ensuring accurate goods acceptance, performing quality checks, and coordinating transit platforms.
Structured procedures allow us to monitor reorder points, promptly manage returns, and maintain a consistent level of operational reliability. Logistics is supported by an advanced management system with production batches, codes and references, stocks, inventories, and methodologies such as LIFO and FIFO, essential for precise and orderly distribution.
Internal processing, preparation and shipping of goods
Our services also include a series of in-house processes that make the logistics process even more comprehensive. These include packaging, bundling, cellophane wrapping, and other ancillary services to properly prepare materials for shipping.
Once preparation is complete, the goods are labeled using coded systems and prepared for shipment throughout Italy, ensuring an orderly, rapid, and monitored route. Each operation is performed with precise methods that ensure integrity and quality of service, allowing us to maintain a high level of reliability from the warehouse to the final destination.
